Charity event praises police

5th April 2017

Andrew Bridgen was joined by comedian Jim Davidson at a fundraiser at the Marriot Hotel, Enderby last week.

Mr Bridgen said:
"It was my pleasure to host members of the public and party members to this event. Jim does some wonderful work for serving and former armed forces personnel.

"Given last week's attack in Westminster, the evening was light on politics but heavy on appreciation for our police and armed forces and the vital task they perform in protecting all our citizens and democracy."

The event raised money for PC Keith Palmer's family and for Jim Davidson's charity Care After Combat.
